This document clarifies PlotSmarter's data retention practices and how dług we hold varying types of user information, extracted from our Privacy Policy.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep your information as long as necessary to provide the PlotSmarter Service to you, comply with relevant legal obligations, or resolve active disputes.

  • Active Accounts: User content (garden layouts, notes, inventory) is retained indefinitely while your account remains active.
  • Payment Data: Handled by Stripe and retained according to their own data retention policies necessary for financial tracking and compliance.
  • Support Communications: Emails to support and bug reports may be retained for training and diagnostic purposes.

Account Deletion & Data Removal

At any time, you may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting our support team at support@plotsmarter.com.

If you request account deletion, we will fundamentally delete or comprehensively de-identify personal information associated with your account from our production databases.

Exceptions to Deletion

In standard deletion scenarios, all your User Content and application history is removed. However, we may retain specific snippets of information exclusively where mandated for legal compliance (e.g. tax records for Stripe transactions) or legitimate business dispute resolution purposes.

Data Security Practices

PlotSmarter leverages secure administrative and technical safeguards (via Google Firebase and Stripe) to protect user information from unauthorized access. Our application data is stored solely within authenticated systems heavily protected by robust security rules.

You are responsible for protecting the authentication method you use to log in via Google Sign-In.
